My Stand Up

This was recorded live at Spirits Bar in Toronto in October 2011

This was recorded live at Yuk Yuk's Toronto in 2007.

How I Became a WASP (Sort of)

In this video, I explain why I always wanted to be a WASP--even though I was born a Jew--and why the two identities are not necessarily incompatible. (With apologies to Ralph Lauren.)

My Set on here! TV's Hot Gay Comics, Episode 6 (Original Air Date: Spring 2009)

Me as Celine Dion (Commenting on the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympics)

Clip from Episode 3 of
The Second City's Next Comedy Legend

This is the episode where we move in to the loft, I go nuts about the interior design, and then run for the top bunk like a rabid chihuahua.  Don't ask.

Clip from Episode 2 of The Second City's Next Comedy Legend

This clip somehow manages to squeeze the entire one-hour episode into a speedy 5 1/2 minutes.  Enjoy.  (And don't blink, or you'll miss me!)

In this clip, Rosie O'Donnell (being portrayed by the incredibly talented Carolyn Castiglia) joins Celine on stage for a chat about Rosie's work on behalf of children.

My Award-Winning Short Film
In June 2007, I was part of the cast of an independent short film entitled Stacked Deck, a cross between a film noir and a western, with a decidedly modern twist. It was a submission to the 48 Hour Film Project, an international short film competition in which every entry must be completed, from scratch, in under 48 hours. (It's amazing what you can accomplish when you just cut out sleep altogether.) On July 11, 2007, Stacked Deck was selected as one of the top 10 films of the New York City round of the competition. A screening and awards ceremony were held on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the Two Boots Theater in Manhattan's East Village, where Stacked Deck took the titles of Runner-Up for both Best Editing and Best Director. You can watch the entire short film below.
